Nikon Develops NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8

Nikon has announced the development of the NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S, and this already looks like one of those lenses that professional sports and action photographers will want to keep a very close eye on. The new lens is being developed for Nikon Z mount full-frame/FX-format mirrorless cameras, and its headline feature is a built-in 1.4x teleconverter. In normal use, it covers 120-300mm, but with the teleconverter engaged it extends to 420mm, giving photographers a much longer reach without needing to remove the lens or add an external converter in the field.
