The reader’s speed shone through consistently as it swiftly and smoothly transferred large volumes of data, remembering that this is still USB Type-C and not Thunderbolt 3. High-resolution images, 8K RAW videos, and large batches of files were handled effortlessly, showcasing the reader’s data processing capabilities. Notably, there was no observable degradation in performance when handling either CFExpress or SD cards which were especially useful for the larger 2TB Gold CFExpress card.
During periods of prolonged use, the reader maintained a steady performance. It handled heavy-duty tasks without issue and maintained high transfer speeds, solidifying its standing as a top-tier data transfer tool.

It performed well across different systems, and although Lexar manufactured worked just as well with other manufacturers’ cards, making it versatile and adaptable.
Despite minor drops in speed when handling data from both card slots simultaneously and the device getting slightly warm, which are such minor points, there are no other issues.
