The new Fuji lens contains 10 elements in six groups, including two aspherical elements which are used as part of the focusing group to minimise performance fluctuations between different focal distances. What’s more, Fuji says the lens’s design “almost completely eliminates mechanical vignetting” when using the optical viewfinder on the Fuji X-Pro2 and X-Pro1 cameras. Inside the Fuji XF23mm f/2 lens is a stepping motor for quieter autofocus, and when combined with the phase detection AF system in the X-Pro2 and Fuji X-T2, the company says it can focus in just 0.05 seconds. The Fuji XF23mm f/2 price tag is £419, with a release date set for September 2016. READ MORE What lens is best for your camera?
