Nik Collection by DxO is a suite of 8 plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and DxO PhotoLab 4. It includes:
- Silver Efex Pro: for converting images to black and white, this is inspired by traditional darkroom techniques.
- Analog Efex Pro: simulates the look of traditional film, cameras and lenses.
- Color Efex Pro: a collection of colour correction and creative effect filters, plus retouching controls.
- Dfine: noise reduction software.
- HDR Efex Pro: High Dynamic Range (HDR) software.
- Sharpener Pro: image sharpening with the ability to apply localised or global sharpening.
- Viveza: local adjustment of colour and tone.
- Perspective Efex: Geometric correction software with distortion correction, horizon straightening and volumetric distortion correction.
25th Anniversary Presets
To celebrate Nik Collection’s 25th anniversary, DxO has announced version 3.3 version which includes 25 brand-new Presets for Color Efex Pro and Silver Efex Pro.
These Presets are divided into five series, each with five Presets: ‘Classic Portrait Color,’ ‘Classic Portrait Black & White,’ ‘Light & Bright,’ ‘Wildlife,’ and ‘Street’.
This update is compatible with macOS Big Sur and the 2021 versions of Adobe’s host applications.
Nik Collection 3.3 Price and Availability
The Nik Collection 3.3 by DxO is available immediately to download via DxO’s website for Windows and Mac computers. The full version costs £125 while the upgrade is £69.
Anyone who purchased Nik Collection 3 by DxO after June 2020 can upgrade their software for free.
