Samsung has announced a new addition to the Galaxy S21 series of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy 21 FE 5G which has some of the key features of the popular Galaxy S21.

We’ve applied the same approach with S21 FE that we did to its predecessor, but have taken it to the next level by equipping it with the premium features that matter most to our loyal Galaxy fans, providing the latest mobile innovations that enable people to fully enjoy each day.’
The S21 FE has a familiar contour-cut frame that integrates with its camera housing and it’s available in four colours: Graphite, Olive, Lavender or White — all with a haze finish. In addition, the S21 FE’s body is just 7.9mm thick body, making it highly pocketable.
Inside the Galaxy S21 FE is the latest Galaxy fast application processor to deliver the same same user experience as with the S21 series. The 6.4-inch FHD Dynamic AMOLED 2X display also has a 240Hz touch response rate and 120Hz refresh rate.
According to Samsung, the S21 FE’s 4500mAh battery is designed to last all day and has 25W fast charging capability which means it can go from zero to more than 50% charge in just 30 minutes.

The Galaxy S21’s camera has proved a favourite and the S21 FE has the same setup. This comprises three cameras as follows:
12Mp ultra-wide f/2.2 camera with a field of view of 123˚
12Mp wide f/1.8 camera with Dual Pixel AF and OIS (optical image stabilisation)
8Mp telephoto f/2.5 camera featuring a 30x Space Zoom
Naturally, there’s also a selfie camera, in this instance, it’s a 32Mp f/2.2 camera with a field of view of 81˚.
Samsung has improved the Night Mode in comparison with the S20 FE for better low-light shots and there’s Dual Recording that allows you to capture what’s going on in front of and behind the phone at the same time.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE price and availability
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be widely available from 11th January with a price tag of £699 for the 128GB version and £749 for the 256GB version. UK customers can also receive a complimentary three month subscription of Disney+.
