Peak Design has officially launched its Travel Tripod and has promised to donate 100% of its profits to charity for seven days.
Peak Design said it will donate all of the profits from the sale of every tripod – both online and via retailers worldwide – to charities supporting Covid-19 relief and combatting climate change.
Peak Design’s hotly anticipated Travel Tripod was first launched as a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter last year and quickly blew through its funding goal.
The Travel Tripod boasts a maximum height of 60 inches and down to a minimum of just 5.5 inches. When folded it up it’s just 15.5 inches.
The Peak Design Travel Tripod can also support a payload of 20lbs.
The Peak Design Travel Tripod price tag will be $599.95 for the carbon fibre version, and $349.95 for the aluminium model.
