Manfrotto has introduced a new Befree Advanced range of tripods aimed at experienced hobbyist photographers, priced from £174.95.

The Manfrotto Befree Advanced collection is designed for use with both mirrorless and DSLR cameras and comes in two versions: twist lock legs or lever lock mechanisms.

The Befree Advanced tripods also come with a new 494 aluminium ball head.

Both tripods also feature new ergonomic leg-angle selectors that are positioned to enable right and left-handed photographers to change shooting perspectives intuitively, Manfrotto says.

And a new spider is designed to give maximum stability on all types of terrain while ensuring that the tripod can fold down compactly enough to fit into any travel luggage.

The Manfrotto Befree Advanced Collection is priced from £174.95 up to £219.95. For more information, visit Manfrotto’s website.
