GoPro has merged its Quik video editing app into its flagship mobile app in order to streamline the process of editing your content.

The integration is the result of a new update, which means GoPro users no longer need to download the Quik app and edit videos separately.

With the update you’ll now be able to create QuikStory videos from the content stored on your GoPro, as well as your smart device.

The update also brings more editing features, such as more than 20 multiple licensed filters and the option to create videos in 4:3 aspect ratio.

And this is just the beginning, according to GoPro. The company says it plans to release a series of further updates that will introduce a full suite of editing tools to its mobile app.
