Benro has released a new foldable gimbal for smartphone videographers, introducing the 3XS Lite, price ta £90/$99.
Unlike many other smartphone gimbals, though, the Benro 3XS offers an interesting feature in that it can automatically swap between landscape and portrait format with the press of a button.
Aimed at bloggers, the Benro 3XS Lite provides three-axis stabilisation and weighs just 430g, supporting smartphones weighing up to 290g. This means it can support all of the larger flagship phones out there.
Because of its foldable design – similar to the recent Gudsen Moza Mini-S – the 3XS Lite can travel in your bag without taking up too much space. The unit also offers direct controls to access your phone’s shutter, focus and zoom controls.
It also boasts a 3.5mm port for connecting a microphone. What’s more, Benro says its internal 2000Ah battery can provide up to 24 hours use on a single charge.
Via its companion app, the Benro 3XS Lite can also capture timeless, panoramas and more.
