The Prize
The winning photographer will receive a 500GB Samsung SSD T5 portable storage unit worth £121.
It measures just 74 x 57.3 x 10.5 mm (3.0 x 2.3 x 0.4 in), and is an excellent storage device for photographers on the move. Plus, thanks to V-NAND technology and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface it has fast transfer times so you don’t have to wait long for your images to copy across.
Samsung supplies the T5 with a USB Type-C to USB-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB-A cable so it can be used with a wide range of devices. It’s also compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Android*, so you can use it to back-up your data and photos from your PC, phone or laptop.
Visit the Samsung website for more information
* Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), Android 4.4 (KitKat), or higher. Older versions of the Windows, Mac and Android operating systems may not be supported.

2020 Competition
Could you be the Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year 2020?
We’ve launched a brand a new photography competition with prizes generously supplied by DxO.
As in 2019, it’s a monthly competition held over 12 rounds but entries are made via Photocrowd.
Each month we will set a theme for the competition and we will pick our favourite as the winner. However, there’s also a crowd vote.
At the end of the year, the winning image from each round will go into the final for further consideration by us. The photographer of the image that we select as the overall winner will be awarded the title ‘Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year 2020’.
Round one: Winter in Black and white
The world can seem monochrome in the depths of winter, so during January, go with the flow and submit you best back and white images of the season. Follow the link to enter via Photocrowd
Entries close 31 January 2020
Rating: 31 January 2020 to 10 February 2020
Winners announced 10 February 2020 on Photocrowd
