Following their merger this month, Wex and Calumet UK will rebrand as Wex Photo Video and will open the largest photographic retail outlet in the UK.
From 11 October Wex Photographic and Calumet UK will bear their new name with the stated intention of becoming the UK’s premier retailer for photographers and videographers.
Wex’s Norwich showroom will be rebranded immediately, while Calumet’s stores will be revamped throughout 2018.
In addition to the rebrand, the Wex-Calumet union will open a new 7,000 square foot retail space on London’s Commercial Road, E1, which will be the UK’s largest photographic retail outlet.
As well as traditional photo and videography kit, the new shop will boast a drone flight zone, permanent photography gallery, theatre zone for live demos and a dedicated event space for seminars and workshops.
