Now, 2 July, of course, is the book’s launch date – it’s on pre-order now -but that could also suggest a Sony A7S III release date won’t be far behind, or may occur soon before.
Spotted by Sony Alpha Rumours, the book, by Dr. Kyra Sanger and Dr. Christian Sanger, also covers the newly announced Sony A7 III.
The translated text of the book’s abstract doesn’t give much away. It reads:
This book will help you to realize the full potential of the Sony A7 III / A7S III. Due to the practical and uncomplicated presentation of the contents, the author passes on his extensive practical know-how to you. The goal is to help you optimally understand the functions and capabilities of your camera. This will enable you to achieve your own perfect image results.
We’ve speculated in the past that with the Sony A7S III the company will use its stacked CMOS sensor technology in a 24-megapixel chip.
And because the A7S II is already shooting video at 3840 x 2160, it seems a pretty safe bet that the Sony A7S III will shoot 6K video or will at least record Cinema 4K (4096 x 2160).
Also expect 10-bit colour and faster processing. You can read the rest of what we expect the Sony A7S III specs will be here.
