The Sony A7R III price tag has been reduced by $200 at some of the leading photographic retailers in the United States.

B&H Photo Video, Adorama and Amazon all now show the Sony A7R III priced at $2,998, down from its original price tag of $3,198.

Launched in October 2017, the Sony A7R III is the company’s big-resolution Alpha 7 model and offers a 42-megapixel full-frame Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor.

Also on board is a 399-point AF system and 10fps continuous shooting.

The camera also can 4K UHD video at 30p with HLG and S-Log3 Gammas.
