The newly announced Sony A7R III is among the best-selling interchangeable lens cameras on Amazon, according to the retail giant.

The full-frame mirrorless camera clocks in at No. 15 on Amazon’s interchangeable lens camera chart, amongst a group of mostly entry-level cameras which traditionally tend to dominate these sales rankings.

Boasting a 42.4-megapixel full-frame sensor, the Sony A7R III offers a number of professional features such as an Advanced Hybrid AF system with 399 focal-plan phase-detection AF points that cover 68% of the image plane and 425 contrast AF points covering 47% of the image area.

The A7R III also offers 10fps continuous shooting and dual memory card slots.

At a body-only price of $3,198, the Sony A7R III isn’t cheap but is seemingly competing with higher-volume cameras like the Canon EOS Rebel T6 and Nikon D3400.

However, it’s also worth noting that the Nikon D850 still remains among Amazon’s best-sellers at No. 7.
