The Sony A5000 has been labeled as ‘discontinued’ on the Sony Japan website and by major retailers in the United States.

According to a Google translation of the Sony Japan product page for the A5000, production of the camera has been ‘completed’ and all ’sale of this item at the Sony store has been terminated.’

The announcement follows a listing on B&H Photo Video, the major US retailer, being marked as discontinued. And no product pages are available on Adorama.

Amazon, however, has stock available from third-party suppliers.
