Sigma will release a full-frame Foveon camera in 2019 that employs the Leica L-Mount, according to the company’s CEO.
Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki has said the company will also produce its own native L-Mount lenses for the full-frame Foveon camera.
Yamaki also said that with the move to full-frame, Sigma will no longer develop any new cameras using its SA mount.
However, he pledged that Sigma will create an SA-L mount adapter so that those users who wish to keep using their SA lenses will be able to do so.
What’s more, he also promised a Canon EF to L-Mount adapter.
