The Sigma fp price tag will be $1,899 / £1,999 with a release date set for November or December, the company has officially announced.
The announcement confirms rumours of the Sigma fp price tag that emerged this week when keen observers spotted the figure hidden within the code on Sigma’s own website.
Redditor u/jadware from r/photography discovered the error, showing that if you go to the Sigma FP store page, right-lick and then select Inspect Element, which displays the page’s code, you can see a Sigma fp price written out as 1899.
The Sigma fp will be the world’s smallest full-frame camera upon its release date, which is said to be around the period of 20-25 October.
