Canon has just announced the release of the SELPHY CP1500 and Canon Zoemini 2, two new additions to the company’s compact printer range.
The new printers are designed to be small while delivering professional-level prints in formats such as a postcard, squares, and mini stickers, with print media designed to last for up to 100 years.
Designed with the family in mind, the new printers are ideal for many uses, from printing high-quality invitations to physical prints of the family for the album.
With Smartphones being a dominant force in the world of instant photography, the SELPHY CP500 can connect to an unlimited amount of smartphones making it not only a great solution for the family to be able to print images whenever they want but also as a centrepiece for events and weddings where people can capture and print the events of the day.
Weighing in at just 177g, the Canon Zoemono 2 weighs in at less than most smartphones and is convenient pocket size. This enables you to print images wherever you are. The small printer features speeding charging features via the high-powered USB-C Connector that enables a full charge in just 50 minutes.
Being designed for absolute convenience, both the Canon Zoemini 2 and SELPHY CP1500 offer a fully compatible app. These apps enable the application of the text, borders, overlays and the assembly of collages.

Regarding print media, both printers have a good selection of options.
• Canon Zoemini 2: offers three types of Canon ZINKTM photo paper in packs of 20 and 50 sheets of 2×3 inches (5 x 7.6 cm) or 20 sheets of 1.3 inches (3.3 cm) circle stickers.
• Canon SELPHY CP1500: will be complemented by a range of SELPHY paper sets, from postcards to square formats to mini stickers for labelling, giving consumers lots of creative options for their crafts.
