Select professional photographers are currently testing the long-rumoured Canon full-frame mirrorless camera, according to new rumours.
Canon Rumors says it has ‘confirmed from a couple of good sources’ that Canon’s full-frame mirrorless camera is further along in its development than many had thought.
In January Canon Rumors reported that the company sent its ambassadors, Canon’s Explorers of Light, a survey asking what they would want from a professional mirrorless camera. This suggested the camera was still a way’s off.
Canon Rumors also reports that another source said Canon has been very open about the full-frame mirrorless camera’s product development with its professional photographers in order to ‘get it right.’
The author states that he or she is ‘very confident’ we will see a Canon full-frame mirrorless camera announced before the end of Q1 2019, and possibly even a development announcement at Photokina 2018.
