Ricoh has cut the price tag of its Theta SC 360 camera, reducing its cost from $299.95 down to $199.95, the company has announced.

Likewise, the Ricoh Theta SC price tag in the UK has been reduced to £199.

The move follows the official addition of the Ricoh Theta 360 4K camera to the company’s official product page, as well as some US retailers’ websites.

The Theta SC is Ricoh’s mid-range 360 camera in its Theta lineup, sitting below the Theta S – and soon the 4K offering – and above the Theta M15.

The Theta SC is comprised of two cameras, each with a 1/2.3-inch type, 12-million-pixel image sensor.

Each still image is made up of around 14-megapixels, and the Ricoh Theta SC can record video at up to Full HD quality (1920 x 1080) at 30 frames per second.
