Ahead of the big reveal 27th April at 19:00 UTC (20:00 BST), the shortlist for the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2021 has been announced.
This is the tenth year of the awards and it saw a record number of entrants to the competition. Over 10,000 images were submitted from more than 70 countries around the world.
The winners will be announced on the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year YouTube channel with Fred Sirieix acting as the host for the evening.
This year’s global judging panel, chaired by legendary food photographer, David Loftus, includes Fiona Shields, Head of Photography, Guardian News & Media, Susan Bright, Writer and Curator, Nik Sharma, Cookbook Author and Photographer, Chef Simone Zanoni, Restaurant Le George, Four Seasons Paris, Alison Jacques, Founder, Alison Jacques Gallery, Vitalie Taittinger, President, Champagne Taittinger, Rein Skullerud, Head of Photo Unit, World Food Programme and Camera Jabber’s Angela Nicholson.
