London Camera Exchange has announced a new South West photography, video and optical event, with the LCE Photo Show 2026 set to take place at Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset on Saturday 12 September 2026. The one-day show will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm, bringing together photographers, filmmakers, content creators and enthusiasts for a full day of kit, talks and creative inspiration.
The new event follows the Exeter South West Photo Show in 2025, but this year LCE is moving to a much larger and more distinctive venue. Haynes Motor Museum should make for a lively setting, not only because of the display space, but because visitors will also get limited access to the museum’s famous Red Room of iconic cars, plus outdoor automotive photography opportunities.
I think that setting is a clever move. Camera shows are always more interesting when you can do more than just handle kit at a stand, and Haynes gives photographers a proper subject to work with. For anyone interested in cars, colour, reflections, low-light interiors or detail shots, the Red Room should offer something far more memorable than the usual trade-show backdrop.
The show will feature hands-on access to the latest cameras, lenses, video kit, optics and accessories from major photography and imaging brands. With exhibitors including Fujifilm, Canon, Nikon and Sony, visitors may want to read our recent Fujifilm X-E5 review, Canon EOS R50 V review, Nikon Z50 II review and Sony A7C II review before heading to the show.
LCE says visitors can expect product demonstrations, seminars, practical sessions, networking opportunities and exclusive show-only deals, with the cost of the entry ticket redeemable against qualifying purchases over £100 including VAT. For those interested in trying accessories as well as camera bodies, our 3 Legged Thing AirHed Vision review and SmallRig Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit review offer useful background on the sort of support kit that can make a real difference when shooting stills and video.
There will also be a programme of ticketed seminars, round-table discussions and practical sessions, with some activities free to attend and others available as paid-for add-ons. Confirmed names include Gavin Hoey and Amy Shore, with more speakers and technical experts expected to be announced ahead of the show. Anyone interested in lighting demonstrations may also want to read our Godox X3 Pro review and Datacolor LightColour Meter review for recent examples of kit aimed at photographers and hybrid creators.
For filmmakers and content creators, the show’s video focus should be particularly useful. Ahead of the event, our Sony ZV-E10 review and Canon EOS R50 V review are worth a look, as both cameras are aimed squarely at creators who want lightweight, accessible video tools.
Alongside the gear and talks, visitors will be able to view the shortlisted and winning images from the LCE Photographer of the Year 2026 competition, which includes multiple categories and a major prize fund.
The venue itself should be straightforward for many South West visitors. Haynes Motor Museum is located just off the A303 in Sparkford, near Yeovil, with free on-site parking included with entry. The museum also lists accessibility support including a stair-free main entrance, accessible parking, mobility scooter and wheelchair hire, and assistance dogs allowed throughout internal and external areas.
