FUJIFILM instax has pulled together a summer travel selection that makes a lot of sense if you like your holiday memories to be physical as well as digital. Rather than focusing on one new product, the line-up brings together instant cameras, hybrid instant cameras, a smartphone printer and decorative film, all aimed at capturing those relaxed, slightly chaotic moments that tend to define a good trip.
The most recent model in the selection is the instax mini 13, which feels like the most straightforward travel pick. It has automatic exposure, flash control, Close-up Mode with parallax correction, a selfie mirror and a built-in self-timer. That last feature is especially useful on holiday, because it means you can set the camera down, get everyone into the frame and avoid the usual outstretched-arm group selfie. FUJIFILM says the mini 13 went on sale on 25 June 2026, priced at £79.99.
For anyone who wants more control before committing an image to film, the instax mini Evo remains the more flexible choice. It is a hybrid instant camera, so you can shoot, preview and then print only the images you actually want to keep. That makes it a good fit for travel journals, city breaks and anyone who wants the charm of instant prints without burning through film too quickly. The premium travel option here is the instax mini Evo Cinema, a 3-in-1 hybrid instant camera, smartphone printer and video camera. It can capture stills, create short video clips and print images, giving it a broader creative brief than the standard mini Evo. The instax Link WIDE takes a different approach, because it is a smartphone printer rather than a camera. That makes it particularly useful if you already shoot most of your travel images on your phone but want larger, wide-format instant prints for scrapbooks, walls or group keepsakes. It also sits neatly alongside Fujifilm’s newer mobile printing line-up, including the instax mini Link+ smartphone printer.
Rounding out the selection is instax mini Macaron Instant Film, which adds pastel borders to mini prints. It is a small creative extra, but for holiday diaries, postcards, festival snaps or family trips, those coloured frames make the prints feel more finished straight out of the camera.
The appeal here is not that instax replaces a dedicated camera. If anything, it complements one.
