Canon is marking three decades of its iconic PowerShot camera line with the release of a special edition of its popular G7 X Mark III. Set to launch in April 2026, the PowerShot G7 X Mark III 30th Anniversary Edition features a distinctive graphite-coloured body and a newly designed front ring with a twill pattern. This limited-edition model also includes a commemorative 30-year anniversary logo printed directly onto the camera and will arrive in a bespoke anniversary box designed to honour the occasion.

The PowerShot series began in July 1996 with the PowerShot 600 and has since evolved into a cornerstone of Canon’s compact digital camera lineup. Designed to make high-quality image and video creation accessible, the PowerShot family has continually pushed boundaries with features like RAW shooting, lens image stabilisation, and, more recently, advanced video capabilities for creators.
