Peak Design has officially announced the Mobile, a new range of smartphone cases that uses a new locking technology to connect various accessories.
Peak Design’s SlimLink employs dual locking mechanisms – a soft lock using MagSafe-compatible magnets and a hard lock – to provide a mounting system for a number of different accessories in the new Mobile range.
The dual locking systems mean you can use the magnetic lock for accessories such as the mini tripod, while the bike and car mounts use the hard lock for more security.
Accessories include the tripod, two bike mounts, wall mount, car mount, a kickstand wallet and a charge stand.
Peak Design’s Mobile cases are designed for the iPhone 12, SE2, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max and Samsung S20, S20 Ultra and S20 Plus. However, you can also purchase a universal adapter that allows you to use the case with other devices.
