The Atomos NINJA V and NINJA V+ will now support recording of Apple ProRes RAW video over HDMI for the OM SYSTEM OM-1, Atomos and OM Digital Solutions have announced.
The update means that OM-1 users will now be able to record DCI 4K Apple ProRes raw video at up to 60p over the camera’s HDMI port when using one of the NINJA devices.
Meanwhile, OM Digital Solutions has also released a new firmware update for the OM System OM-1. Firmware version 1.1 improves ‘stability of operations when shooting while utilising the EVF.’
This effectively corrects an issue reported by some users where the OM-1 was freezing when the OM-1’s EVF frame rate was set to a high speed. You can download the new OM-1 firmware update at OM System’s website.
