The new Photokina date marking the trade show’s move to a yearly cycle will be 8 to 11 May 2019 in Cologne, Germany, organisers have announced.

Earlier this year the show revealed that it would be shifting from its traditional bi-annual frequency to a yearly format.

What’s more, Photokina’s move to a May time slot marks a departure from its traditional mid- to late-September occurrence.

The next Photokina show will take place from 26 to 29 September 2018, before shifting to the annual schedule in May 2019.

The show will remain in Cologne.
