Fujifilm has announced a new firmware update for the X-T3 that will bring the camera’s AF performance in line with the flagship X-T4.
Fujifilm X-T3 firmware version 4.0 boosts the camera’s AF speed from 0.06 to 0.02. AF tracking performance has also been ‘doubled’, while Fujifilm has also upgraded its Face tracking and Eye AF performance.
Fujifilm has also doubled the tracking performance of Eye AF in certain modes, and the camera can work in light levels as low as -7EV.
What’s more, the new firmware adds the “Focus Limiter” function which gives a pre-define specific focus range.
