Manfrotto has announced the 504X Fluid Video Head, price tag $359, which supports a payload of 26.5lbs and features a four-step counterbalance system.
Designed for smooth, stable video footage, the Manfrotto 504X features a bridge architecture that allows for a wider top surface and a longer sliding plate to provide greater balance and stability.
The Manfrotto 504X’s pan and tilt counterbalance system includes four presets from 0 to 4.8 to 9.7 to 14.3 lbs, allowing you to balance your camera despite its size and weight.
The head features a flat base with a 3/8″-16 female mounting thread, enabling you to mount it on most tripods, monopods, sliders and rigs.
