The Lowepro has overhauled the design of the Flipside II to create the Flipside BP 300 AW III and Flipside BP 400 AW III, introducing upgraded fabric, new features and enhanced protection.
Moulded front EVA bumpers give extra protection when the packs are face down on the ground for access to the camera compartment via the rear opening. This rear entry gives fast access yet keep the kit safe when the pack is on your back.
There’s also a new grab handle and a new side-access point for fast lens changes.
In addition, the Flipside III backpacks have a new stowable waist belt and an adjustable chest strap – both giving extra comfort with heavy loads.
Robust fabrics and front PU coating enhance the packs’ durability and resistance to moisture and abrasion, but an All Weather AW Cover is included for extra protection in extreme conditions.
Inside, the bags have a new divider layout with customisable storage for a variety of cameras and lenses as well as everyday essentials, a travel tripod, a 10inch tablet and a 13-15inch laptop.

With exterior dimensions of 12.2 x 8.7 x 18.1-inch / 31 x 22 x 46cm and interior dimensions of 10.02 x 4.4 x 15.4-inch / 26 x 12 x 39cm, the Lowepro Flipside BP 300 AW III can accommodate a mirrorless camera with lenses or compact drone, plus compact tripod, 13-inch laptop and 10-inch tablet.
Meanwhile, the Lowepro Flipside BP 400 AW III measures 13.0 x 9.4 x 18.9-inch / 33 x 24 x 48cm and has internal dimensions of 11 x 5.5 x 16.01-inch / 28 x 14 x 41cm and can hold a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a second grip plus lenses or compact drone, plus compact tripod, 15-inch laptop and 10-inch tablet.
