Leica has announced two new cameras, introducing the compact Leica C-Lux and the Leica M10 “Edition Zagato,” the latter which carries a price tag of $21,600.

Leica C-Lux

The 20-megapixel Leica C-Lux is a new pocket-size, fixed-lens compact camera which boasts a Leica DC Vario-Elmar 8.8–132 mm (equivalent 24–360 in 35 mm format) f/3.3–6.4 ASPH. lens.

The C-Lux can shoot at 10 frames per second in its burst mode and offers a native ISO range all the way up to 25,600.

Other features include a built-in 2,33-megapixel electronic viewfinder and a 3-inch touchscreen display, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth.

Also on board is 4K video recording at up to 30p, and users also have the option to extract stills from their footage.

The Leica C-Lux price tag will be $1,050 from its release date in mid-July. It will be available in Light Gold and Midnight Blue.

The Leica M10 “Edition Zagato” is a special edition set that comprises a Leica M10 camera body and a Leica Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens.

The set takes its name and design from Dr Andrea Zagato, owner of the Italian design house and automotive styling specialists of the same name.

The Leica M10 “Edition Zagato” is limited to just 250 sets, and boasts a price tag of $21,600.
