Irix has announced the Cine 11mm T4.3, the second full-frame lens in its new cinematography range.
Designed for filming 8K video, the new Irix 11mm T4.3 is a compact lens that weighs 1.1kg and features a Magnetic Mount System for quickly attaching accessories, such as a lens hood. Irix says it plans to expand the compatible accessories in the future.
With an image circle of 43.3mm, the new Irix 11mm T4.3 is comprised of 16 elements, four of which are made with high refractive index glass, three of which have aspherical surfaces and two with low-dispersion glass.
The new Irix lens joins the Irix Cine 150mm T3.0 in its cinematography line. You can buy Irix lenses from Adorama or Wex Photo Video.
