The new Gitzo Systematic tripods have been designed for photographers who use long lenses and heavy cameras, the company says.

Among their features are 50mm diameter feet for better stability and a more rigid leg system featuring Glitz’s Carbon eXact design.

New leg angle selectors allow photographers to switch between leg angles, while Gitzo’s G-lock Ultra functionality promises more comfortable operation, the company says.

The new Gitzo tripods also feature a new Easy Link attachment, which via a 3/8in thread users can attach a wide range of camera accessories.

The new Gitzo Monopods features the same Carbon eXact and G-lock Ultra functionality, as well as the large feet.

The new models also feature enhanced aesthetics and sizing selection.

Gitzo Systematic tripod price tags start at £649.95, while the monopods can be bought for @214.95.
