Fujifilm has announced the Fujinon XF27mm F2.8 R WR, price tag £419, a new pancake prime lens aimed at everyday photography.
The compact Fujinon XF27mm F2.8 R WR introduces an aperture ring with an f stop scale so that users can check their aperture setting without looking at their camera’s screen.
This aperture ring also features an Auto (A) Position Lock that locks the Fujinon XF27mm F2.8 R WR in its position.
A weather-resistant design means you can operate the lens in temperatures down to -10C and it’s protected against water and dust.
The Fujinon XF27mm F2.8 R WR lens’s optical construction is comprised of seven elements in five groups, including one aspherical element to keep spherical aberration and field curvature at bay. It also uses a high-torque DC motor for faster AF performance.
The Fujinon XF27mm F2.8 R WR release date will be 18 March.
