Canon USA has launched RAISE, a new photo-sharing platform that uses AI to help photographers organise and manage their images.
Through artificial intelligence, RAISE uses auto-tagging technology to help categorise collections of images. The auto-tagging technology will identify objects and subjects, as well as emotions and colours, even composition types.
The tech only works on JPEG images, however.
RAISE aims to be a community, as well, and users can share their images privately or publicly (as well as outside of the platform). You can also explore other photographers’ images.
Canon says the platform also lets you receive a personalised feed of images based on your own uploads, tags and preferences.
