BenQ has announced a new flagship monitor for photographers, introducing the 31.5in BenQ SW320.
The BenQ SW320 offers a 31.5-inch 4K display with High Dynamic Range (HDR) capability, increasing the dynamic range between black and white and supporting HDR signals through both its HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.
The new monitor also covers a colour gamut spanning 99% of Adobe RGB and 100% of sRGB and Rec. 709.
BenQ says the SW320 is certified by Technicolor to meet strict standards for colour accuracy used in Hollywood and throughout the media and entertainment industries, such as True 10-Bit Colour Depth, 14-Bit 3D LUT and the digital cinema industry’s DCI-P3 colour space.
Other features include:
Palette Master Element Colour Calibration
Brightness Uniformity Function
GamutDuo and Advanced Black and White Modes
Hotkey Puck and Pro Shading Hood.
BenQ’s “Hotkey Puck” remote control enables instant switching between colour modes and image settings.
The SW320 monitor is finished in a minimalist bezel and adjustable stand design engineered to reduce reflection, BenQ says, and includes a media card reader, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.0a, and DisplayPort / miniDisplayPort 1.4 supporting Mac Thunderbolt output.
