Xiaomi has published a teaser for a new Mi smartphone, which claims to use a 108-megapixel Samsung sensor.
The company spilled the beans at its Xiaomi Future Image Technology Communication Conference, where it announced it will incorporate Samsung’s 108-megapixel ISOCELL image sensor into an upcoming Mi smartphone.
The company didn’t state which future phone will offer this resolution. However, rumours from credible sources on Twitter suggest it will feature in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone.
In the meantime, Xiaomi plans to roll out Redmi smartphones using a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor that will usurp its current 48MP sensors.
