Venus Optics has announced the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X macro lens, price tag $399, designed for use with Sony E, Canon M and Fujifilm X mount cameras.
Designed specifically for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors, the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 provides 2:1 magnification and an aperture range of f/2.8 to f/22.
The Laowa 65mm f/2.8 macro’s optical construction consists of 14 elements in 10 groups, with three extra low dispersion elements. It also boasts a nine-blade aperture.
The new Laowa lens weighs 335g and measures just 100mm long and 57mm in diameter.
