Sony has posted a teaser for a special event that it will host on its website on 7 November 2023, which is widely expected to be a new product announcement.
Sony posted the teaser on its Alphauniverse website. The teaser gives very little away, save for the Alpha logo, which suggests the announcement will include a camera in its Alpha series of mirrorless cameras. Many suspect the new Sony camera will be an A9 III, as all of the Sony A7 series cameras have been updated fairly recently.
The launch could also include new lenses, or even new firmware for cameras like the Sony A1 to give it a performance boost ahead of the summer Olympics in Paris next year.
The event will be live streamed at 9am EST / 2pm GMT / 11pm JST.
