To celebrate a decade of aerial creativity, DJI and SkyPixel have announced the winners of the 10th Annual SkyPixel Photo & Video Contest, highlighting the stunning talent of drone pilots from around the globe. With over 130,000 entries submitted from more than 100 countries and regions, this year’s competition was the most diverse and inclusive yet, offering a platform for drone users of all experience levels to showcase their artistic vision.

Whether you’re flying your first drone or are an experienced aerial cinematographer, the SkyPixel contest proves that drone creativity knows no boundaries. With entry categories tailored to all skill levels—ranging from pro to enthusiast—the contest was a celebration of the wide-reaching impact drones have had on visual storytelling.

The Grand Prize in the video category was awarded to “I Am Here” by Italian filmmaker Mauro Pagliai, a moving tribute to everyday life and overlooked corners of Italy. Meanwhile, the Grand Prize in the photo category went to Duminda Dissanayake from Sri Lanka, whose image captured a vibrant celebration in the town of Chilaw, full of rhythm, colour, and culture.

Entries were judged not just for technical excellence but for their ability to tell a compelling story, further reinforcing the idea that great drone content isn’t just about gear—it’s about vision, perspective, and emotion.

For those inspired to take to the skies, DJI continues to offer a range of drones suitable for beginners to professionals. Whether you’re flying an ultra-portable DJI Mini 4 Pro or piloting a cinematic DJI Mavic 3 Pro, the tools are there for everyone to join the creative movement.
