Canon is currently working on two prosumer mirrorless cameras that use full-frame sensors, according to new rumours.
Canon Rumors cites a source in the know who says that Canon is developing both now, with a flagship model due to be released first. Then, around six to eight months later the company will release the junior model, which will also be full frame.
Also intriguing from the report is that Canon Rumors’ source says the company has ‘a really nice solution for EF lenses on the full frame mirrorless body.’
As Canon Rumors points out, that would suggest Canon’s full frame mirrorless cameras won’t use a native EF mount.
