The standard 50 is a kit bag essential and now Olympus has launched its own high end 25mm (35mm equivalent 50mm) at Photokina 2016.
As the Olympus OM-D EM-1 MKII is now being widely used by Pro’s they’re demanding serious lenses and here it looks like Olympus has delivered with a prime lens designed for ultimate performance.
The high quality optics are matched by a fast AF to ensure that you capture the shot whatever the situation. The lens will join the flagship M.ZUIKO Pro series.
With a maximum aperture of f/1.2 it will provide excellent centre sharpness whilst producing beautiful bokeh. As with all M.ZUIKO Pro series lenses, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 25mm 1:1.2 PRO is dust, splash and freezeproof.
It will become available from October 2016 at a recommended retail price of £1099.99.
