Vanguard Launches Lightweight VEO Lite Camera Bags

Vanguard has unveiled its latest range of camera camera bags with the VEO Lite series. The new line consists of three lightweight, weather-resistant bags designed to meet the needs of photographers on the go. Available from November, the new line includes the VEO Lite B20L and B25L backpacks, as well as the compact VEO Lite S2L shoulder bag.

All three bags have been crafted from high-quality polyester and finished with an eco-friendly PVC coating, the backpacks are both water-repellent and easy to clean. Weatherproof zips and an included rain cover offer added protection from the elements, while the smooth exterior disguises the bag’s photographic purpose, ideal for both urban and travel photography.

Each backpack is split into a lower camera compartment and an upper section for personal items or additional gear. The camera compartment can hold a full-frame DSLR (up to 15cm tall) with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached, plus up to four extra lenses and accessories. Access is convenient via the rear, side, and optionally from the top, ensuring photographers don’t miss the perfect moment.

The upper compartment can accommodate personal essentials or be opened for top access to the camera section. A padded laptop sleeve fits devices up to 16″, making these backpacks just as suitable for commuting as for photography. Expandable side pockets hold water bottles or travel tripods, while security features include a hidden AirTag pocket and a concealed sleeve for valuables like passports.

For lighter outings or added capacity, the new VEO Lite S2L shoulder bag fits compact or action cameras and can be clipped to the backpacks for integrated storage. Though small, the S2L retains Vanguard’s attention to design and durability.
