Tenba has announced its new Roadie v2 Collection. This new line is designed with the needs of working photographers, filmmakers and content creators in mind, the Roadie v2 introduces the world’s first rolling camera case equipped with fully removable backpack straps, offering users an unprecedented level of versatility in the field.

The innovative design of the Tenba Roadie v2 combines the travel convenience of a roller case with the rugged adaptability of a backpack. This hybrid approach allows users to switch seamlessly between rolling and carrying, depending on the environment, from navigating busy airports to trekking across beaches, muddy paths or cobblestone streets. The detachable straps can be affixed or removed in under 60 seconds, creating a go-anywhere system that adapts to real-world shooting conditions.

Tenba’s signature engineering features prominently throughout the Roadie v2 line-up. The cases incorporate WideTrak wheels with CloudDrive technology, an in-house development designed to maximise stability and ease of movement even when fully loaded. The Roadie Roller 24, in particular, boasts large-diameter, shock-absorbing wheels built for rough terrain.

Durability is another key focus. All models include a rigid, corrugated polypropylene frame, water-repellent ballistic nylon exteriors, and smart design touches like hidden pockets for tracking devices (AirTag or TILE compatible). The standout Roadie v2 Spinner Air Case can withstand over 240kg of pressure, making it suitable for both shipping and airline check-in. It’s also the first in its class to offer a dedicated laptop compartment in a hard case.

Additional usability features include a reversible silver/black rain cover, removable floor pads for larger gear, drop-in tripod carriers, and premium materials such as YKK Woven-in-Tough zippers and reinforced stitching.

The Roadie v2 Collection includes four main configurations: Spinner 21 International, Spinner 21 Air Case, Spinner 22, and the larger Roller 24, the latter designed to carry full cinema rigs or lighting setups. Optional accessories, including backpack straps and internal luggage liners, expand the system for hybrid workflows and heavy travel.

Tenba’s Roadie v2 series represents a shift in how professionals transport gear, with an emphasis on discreet styling, superior build quality and multifunctional design. According to Tenba, it’s not just a new case, it’s a whole new way to move with equipment.
