Panasonic has officially announced the limited European release of the LUMIX S9 Titanium Gold Edition, a special version of its award-winning compact full-frame mirrorless camera. Only 200 kits will be made available across Europe from 16 October 2025, sold exclusively via Panasonic Direct online, priced at £1,199 / €1,399.
This striking new edition stands out with its Titanium Gold finish, achieved through a unique three-layer paint process. Starting with a piano-black base to enhance depth and reflectivity, the second layer adds mirror-like brightness, while a tinted clear topcoat delivers the signature golden hue. The finish is paired with dark brown accents, resulting in a sophisticated and durable exterior.
As a nod to exclusivity, each Titanium Gold kit includes a matching premium titanium and brown leather rope strap, limited edition LUMIX stickers, and a personal thank-you message from the designer—extras not included with other S9 colourways.
The LUMIX S9 has earned significant recognition in the design world, having secured both the iF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award in 2025. More than just a pretty face, the S9 offers serious performance, featuring a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, advanced Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF), and Panasonic’s industry-leading 5-axis Dual I.S.2 image stabilisation.
Ideal for mobile creators, the S9 is lightweight at just 486g (with battery and SD card), includes a fully articulating screen, and supports MP4 Lite—a video format optimised for smartphones. Designed with creators in mind, the camera supports on-the-go colour grading using the REAL TIME LUT system, which includes a dedicated button for instant access. Users can even download LUTs from popular creators or design their own within the app.
