Lexar Adds 2TB to GOLD and SILVER CFexpress Type A Range

Lexar has introduced 2TB capacities for its Professional GOLD and SILVER CFexpress 4.0 Type A cards, marking a significant step forward for Sony Alpha and FX system users working with high-resolution stills and demanding video formats. The new additions offer high-speed performance in a compact, rugged format, designed to withstand the rigours of field work.

Aimed squarely at professionals capturing 8K video and fast burst sequences, the new 2TB cards provide much-needed space for today’s oversized files, enabling longer shoots without the hassle of frequent card swaps. Both cards leverage the CFexpress 4.0 standard and are optimised when paired with Lexar’s dedicated USB 4.0 reader, sold separately.
