Antigravity has released a fresh teaser for its upcoming Antigravity A1 drone, ahead of the official launch on 4th December. The short video, available to view on YouTube, hints once again at the drone’s unique design and 360-degree imaging capabilities, which have already captured the imagination of aerial photographers and videographers.
We first reported on the A1 in our initial story, Antigravity Drone Debuts, Revolutionising 360 Aerial Capture, where it was revealed the company was working on a new category of drone with a camera system that would remove the aircraft from its own footage. It’s a concept designed from the ground up to provide truly immersive 360 content, free of propellers, shadows, or distortion.
Our follow-up article, Antigravity A1 Takes Flight as First 8K 360 Drone, provided more detail, including confirmation that the drone can shoot in 8K at 30fps, and that it includes real-time image stitching, an adaptive flight system, and a modular design.
What We Know About the Antigravity A1
According to Antigravity’s official blog, the A1 is the world’s first drone built specifically for 360 aerial capture, equipped with a 1/1.35-inch sensor and capable of shooting immersive 8K 360 video at 30fps. What makes the A1 especially unique is its proprietary imaging system, which uses AI-assisted stitching to completely remove the drone from the footage — even during complex manoeuvres.
The A1 is powered by Antigravity’s flight platform, developed in collaboration with Insta360, and features an adaptive control system that maintains stability even in dynamic environments. The drone is aimed at filmmakers, content creators, and commercial drone operators seeking to push boundaries in storytelling and VR content.
More technical details and teaser content can be found on Antigravity’s official announcement post, which also confirms that the full launch will take place on 4 December 2025.
