Godox has introduced the AD400Pro II, an all-in-one outdoor flash that builds on the success of the original AD400Pro by packing in more power, faster performance, and smarter wireless control. Designed with demanding location shooters in mind, this second-generation unit adds new features to support faster-paced, high-precision work across a broad range of systems.
At the heart of the AD400Pro II is a powerful 400 Ws flash tube with a high-speed sync (HSS) capability of up to 1/8000s. The standout Freeze mode offers an incredibly short flash duration of up to 1/27770 second (t0.1), enabling razor-sharp capture of even the fastest action—from water splashes to high-speed motion. This is paired with a 0.01–1s recycle time and up to 460 full-power flashes per battery charge, ensuring speed never compromises stamina.
An improved 2.4 GHz Wireless X system now supports one-tap sync via the Godox X3 trigger, eliminating the usual setup delays. Sixteen colour-coded group indicators streamline multi-light setups, while full TTL support extends to Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, and Leica systems.
The AD400Pro II also features a 30 W bi-colour LED modelling lamp with adjustable colour temperature (2800K–6000K) and brightness (10%–100%), ideal for both photo and video applications. A large colour TFT screen offers intuitive controls, while compatibility with both Godox and Bowens mount modifiers provides maximum creative flexibility.
Accessories like the H400P extension head, AC400 adapter, and UC46 USB charger further expand its utility, enabling use in a wide variety of environments and setups.
