The first wave of 100th Anniversary Edition Nikon D5 and D500 cameras have been received by some US and European retailers.

A search on the US retailer Adorama’s website shows that the new Nikon D5 100th Anniversary Edition camera is now in stock, as is the 100th Anniversary Edition Nikon D500.

A quick search of UK retailers shows the limited edition cameras aren’t yet for sale here, in the home of Camera Jabber, but Nikon Rumors has found listings on German retailers’ websites which are now available to order.

Meanwhile, a number of other Nikon 100th Anniversary products are now available worldwide, such as the miniature Nikon F camera, T-shirts and other assorted items.

The commemorative edition of the Nikon D5 boasts a metallic grey finish and a stamp on the bottom noting Nikon’s contribution to the study and exploration of space. An Anniversary booklet detailing these contributions is also included.

The Nikon D500 Anniversary Edition comes in an metal case with an engraved commemorative logo and serial number. It also comes with both a body cap and leather strap embossed with the commemorative logo.
