Insta360 has announced a major update of its app, which delivers faster export speeds and a redesigned interface.
Chief among the updates is the app’s shooting interface, which allows users to swipe left and right at the bottom for different shooting modes. Swiping up opens up all the shooting options.
Other pages within the app are also refreshed with a cleaner, streamlined look.
The Insta360 app update also promises export rates that are 100% faster than before. Meanwhile, video loading times in the app’s album are between 300-500% faster than previously.
What’s more, these speed increases are available for both Android and iOS users.
Other updates include making it easier to trim clips, smoother navigation between albums and files and the new ability to include multiple music tracks in the same clip.
The AI-powered editing tool, FlashCut, has also been updated with 7 new templates, and it’s AquaVision 2.0, an underwater colour correction algorithm, is now available for ONE X users.
Insta360’s updated mobile app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be used to operate the Insta360 GO 2, Insta360 ONE X2, Insta360 ONE R and Insta360 ONE X cameras.
